From place to place

Four Chance Bouquets representing each member of Erin Delaney's family, assembled from flowers and debris found on the walk between the Linden Purple Line CTA stop and her childhood home. Flowers, rope, paper, flags, and wood; 2017.

Erin Delaney and Michael Egon Schiele recreated the walk between the Linden Purple Line CTA stop and Erin's childhood home, where she would travel between Wilmette and Chicago in her youth. Twenty-two photographs were made during this walk to document the experience, while flowers and debris were collected from parks and wild plants. These materials were then used to create four unique Chance Bouquets representing each member of the artist's family; then, displayed and documented.
